In honour of International Women’s Day, this week we’ve selected the best roles in architecture and design at female-led firms available on Dezeen Jobs, including roles with Design Haus Liberty, India Mahdavi and Anouska Hempel.
Design Haus Liberty, which overhauled a boutique hotel in Chelsea has an opportunity for a Part-II architectural assistant to join its team. The Clerkenwell-based studio is led by founder Dara Huang, one of three female directors at the firm.
French architect India Mahdavi is expanding her team in Paris and is looking for an interior designer or showroom assistant. The Paris-based interior designer, who set up her studio in 1999, used different shades of quartz to create bold, geometric floor patterns for department store KaDeWe in Berlin.
British architecture firm McLean Quinlan Architects, founded by Fiona McLean and Kate Quinlan, is looking for an architect to join its practice in Winchester, UK. The firm completed a stone house in Wyoming with a cedar shingled roof, modelled on a nearby 19th-century log cabin.
Nissen Richards, directed by Pippa Nissen and her husband Jim Richards, is looking for an experienced architect or Part-II. The London firm used props, graphic design, film, and sound for an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum last year, which explored the cultural significance of the 1960s.
Anouska Hempel’s London-based firm designed the interiors for the Corfu Suite at Blakes Hotel in London. The designer to is currently looking for a Part-II architect/visualiser with knowledge of AutoCAD and Photoshop to join her growing practice.
Studio Mackereth is London-based practice founded by award-winning architect Sally Mackereth in 2013 and has recently been appointed to design a new art gallery and apartment building in Mayfair. The firm is looking for a Part-II architectural assistant or Part-III architect with residential experience to join its team.
Tara Bernerd currently has an opportunity for a middleweight interior designer or architect to join her practice based in London’s Knightsbridge. The British interior designer was chosen to redesign the lobbies, bar and bedrooms at SIXTY Soho in New York.
