A Collection of Objects Extracted from the Bottom of a River

At the beginning of the 2000’s, a new metro line was created in Amsterdam beside the Amstel river. The operation demanded to completely pump the urban waterway, which allowd local archeologist to discover all the compendium of insolite objects accidentally fallen into the river. To encourage this massive extraction mission, the Departement of Archeology and Amsterdam City opened a website to archive 19.000 of the 700.000 objects found on the bottom of the Amstel.
